Welcome to my blog in which I hope I can help my wife to raise awareness of her condition Fibromyalgia and maybe go some way to helping the partners, friends and family of those suffering with the same disease to understand from 'the other side'. I'm also a sufferer of depression and would like to share my thoughts on this and the battle i've had for nearly twenty years.

Enjoy reading and please feel free to leave comments.

The Sunday Shopping Trip

Well we did it, managed to get Sal out of the house and into town using the wheelchair. Sal says it was nice not to have to struggle to walk, but i'm not sure, due to having the kids with us that it was more relaxing. The wheelchair was ok, a bit difficult at times to get it around the shops, people in general were nice when they noticed, offering to open doors and even saying please go in front in the queue.

So in general not a bad experience, but not one i'd like to do again in a hurry, if we did then, the answer is no kids!

I'm sure the airport will be a different situation and of course we'll have no kids with us.
