Welcome to my blog in which I hope I can help my wife to raise awareness of her condition Fibromyalgia and maybe go some way to helping the partners, friends and family of those suffering with the same disease to understand from 'the other side'. I'm also a sufferer of depression and would like to share my thoughts on this and the battle i've had for nearly twenty years.

Enjoy reading and please feel free to leave comments.

My wife's frustration

Hi all,

Just thought it was worth a mention, one of the things about Sally's illness is not only the physical limitations but the mental torture too, Sally has always been a do'er and now she still wants to do what she could before but of course is held back somewhat by her FM. Tonight it's the laptop, i'm sure it will go out of the window at some point. Deep breaths and calmly forward, and when she's finished doing what she's doing and the swearing has finished, I shall quitely dismantle the said laptop and rebuild it, lets hope that works then!! I feel for her, she wants to run, but can only slow walk right now.

More soon
