Welcome to my blog in which I hope I can help my wife to raise awareness of her condition Fibromyalgia and maybe go some way to helping the partners, friends and family of those suffering with the same disease to understand from 'the other side'. I'm also a sufferer of depression and would like to share my thoughts on this and the battle i've had for nearly twenty years.

Enjoy reading and please feel free to leave comments.

A Night in Labro

Hello all,

Firstly another rainy day in Italy, but still very pleasant, and no less relaxing.

Tonight we went out to Labro, a small village which is enclosed within a wall and is completely cobbled, very quaint, beautiful in fact and again, a photographers dream. We went to a small restaurant and had the most amazing time, the food was typical Italian, antipasti, pasta, meat course, desert and of course wine, which I might add was as smooth as silk, a red sicilian, gorg!

The restaurant was very small, seats no more than a dozen, only three of us inside, oh and a large roaring open fire, simply the best! A great evening and topped off by being shown the wine and cheese cellar, cheese's which were four years old and the oldest wine dated back to 1895, and a bottle from 1945, which despite being the last year of the second world war, was a good wine year for this particular french region.

Sally had a great time, she has rested all day to save her "spoons" and used her energy to get out tonight.

All warm inside,
night
